hang it all
Inspired by the Eames Hang-It-All Coat Rack, the only problem with our version is that it's too good-looking to hide under a jumble of coats! This innovative alternative to the run-of-the-mill coat hook was designed originally by Charles and Ray Eames in 1953 for Tigrett Enterprises Playhouse Division as part of their childrens' collection for the company. However, it became a huge success and is instantly recognisable today.
As well as being a conversation piece because of it's multi-coloured spheres, it is highly functional and extremely strong. I think that it can be shown off beautifully if, say 2 to 3 are paired together horizontally to liven up a dead space in a bedroom, under a stairs, in an office, a bathroom, kitchen, wherever....!
