Showroom Sales Assistant (3-Month Contract, Potential to Extend)

Location: CA Design Showroom, Dublin Contract: 3 months (with potential to extend) Hours: 3–5 days per week, including weekends

Typical Hours:

● Monday to Saturday: 9.30am – 5.30pm

● Sunday: 12.00pm – 5.00pm

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Showroom Sales Assistant to join our team on a 3-month contract, with the potential for extension. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic design environment, helping clients bring their interiors to life through thoughtful advice and exceptional service.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about interiors, confident in a customer-facing role, and motivated by creating a welcoming and inspiring showroom experience.

Key Responsibilities

● Greet and engage with customers, providing an exceptional in-showroom experience.

● Understand customer needs and offer tailored advice on products, finishes, and design options.

● Support the sales process from initial enquiry through to order completion.

● Maintain the showroom to the highest visual standards, ensuring displays are tidy, current, and well-presented.

● Process sales transactions and maintain accurate records.

● Support the wider team with administrative tasks, stock management, and product merchandising.

● Keep up to date with product ranges, trends, and promotions.

Skills & Experience

● Proven sales or customer service experience (retail, interiors, or similar environment).

● Strong interest in interior design, furniture, or home styling.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Professional, approachable, and confident working with clients in person.

● Detail-oriented with good organisational and administrative skills.

● Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

● Flexibility to work weekends and occasional additional hours during peak periods.
