This chair is inspired by the Cesca chair which was originally designed by Hungarian Architect Marcel Breuer. The Cesca chair was highly innovative for its time, crafted using a cantilever base of tubular steel - an inventive approach as this was not a traditional material. Marcel paired the industrial like metal with warmer, traditional materials such as beechwood & cane inserts. The design has lasted through time, fitting perfectly in with a more modern space.
